About
A decade of designing meaningful spaces
I am Nishi Shah — an interior architect based in Surat. I started my journey in 2016 and have since completed 35+ projects, with a speciality in turnkey work: 20+ projects delivered from first sketch to final handover.
My work spans bespoke residences, hospitality destinations, commercial environments and retail concepts. Each project begins with listening — understanding how a space will be felt, not just seen.
Trained at the prestigious CEPT University, Ahmedabad, and the Architectural Association in London, I draw on a deep material vocabulary, a sensitivity to light, and an unwavering attention to craft.
OUR PROCESS
A process built on clarity, creativity and craft.
A collaborative journey from idea to reality — thoughtful, intentional and detail-driven.
Discovery
Every project begins with deep listening. I immerse myself in your world — your routines, aspirations, and the way you inhabit space — to define a design brief that is uniquely yours.
Concept
From mood boards and spatial narratives to material palettes and precedent studies, the concept phase establishes the DNA of your space — its soul, atmosphere and material language.
Design Development
Refined drawings, 3D visualisations and detailed specifications bring the concept to life. Every element — from the curve of an arch to the grain of a stone — is considered with intention.
Execution
I work closely with master craftspeople, contractors and artisans to ensure the vision is realised with uncompromising quality, managing every detail through to the final reveal.
